Light Naphtha

  • It refers to finished products used as petrochemical feedstock or distillation cut mainly called light straight-run naphtha. It constitutes lightly heavier material and pentane. It generally comes from the distillation of crude oil or the separation of NGls in N.G.L. fractionation plants. It is used in hydrocarbon cracking, cleaning fluids, and laundry soaps.
