Greases

It is a semi-solid material produced by dispersion of a thickness agent in a liquid lubricant. The properties depend on nature and amount of thickener when additives used and the characteristics of base oil. Greases are identified on consistency by NLGI grades because it defines ranges of 60 strokes worked on penetration at 250 C, which indicates stiffness and softness of a consistency.
